1、 Contrast method. Two instruments of the same type are required, and one of them is in normal operation. The use of this method also requires the necessary equipment, such as a multimeter, oscilloscope, etc.
2、 Temperature rise and fall method. Sometimes, when the instrument works for a long time, or when the working environment temperature is high in summer, the magnetic flap liquid level gauge will fail. It will be shut down and checked to be normal. If it is stopped for a period of time, it will turn on again, and then it will fail again. This phenomenon is due to the poor performance of individual IC or components, and the high temperature characteristic parameters can not meet the requirements. In order to find out the cause of the fault, the temperature rise and fall method can be used.
3、 Capacitance bypass method. When a certain circuit produces strange phenomena, such as display confusion, the capacitance bypass method can be used to determine the circuit part that is probably out of order. The capacitor is bridged to the power and ground terminals of IC, and the transistor circuit is bridged to the base input or collector output to observe the influence on the fault phenomenon. If the input end of capacitor bypass is invalid and the fault disappears when the output terminal of capacitor bypass is bypassed, the fault is determined to be in this stage circuit.
4、 Observation, this is the most intuitive. Use vision, smell and touch. In some cases, the damaged components will change color, blister or appear burnt spots; the burned components will produce some special smell; the chip with short circuit will be hot; the false soldering or desoldering can be observed with naked eyes.
5 Magnetic level gauge Exclusion method. The so-called troubleshooting method is to determine the cause of the fault by plugging some plug-in boards and devices in the machine. When a plug-in board or device is removed and the instrument returns to normal, it indicates that the fault occurs there.
6、 Replacement method. Two instruments of the same model or enough spare parts are required. Replace a good spare part with the same component on the faulty machine to see if the fault is eliminated.
