However, sometimes due to some errors in installation or operation, the measurement results of orifice flowmeter will produce certain errors. 1、 When measuring the liquid pressure, the pressure tap should be opened on the side of the process pipe to avoid sedimentation and slag deposition.
2、 The pressure pipe should be installed in the place where the temperature fluctuation is small.
3、 When measuring the gas pressure, the pressure tap should be opened at the top of the process pipe, and the transmitter should also be installed on the upper part of the process pipe, so that the accumulated liquid can be easily injected into the process pipe.
4、 Prevent the orifice flowmeter from contacting with corrosive or overheated media.
5、 When measuring steam or other high-temperature medium, it is necessary to connect condenser such as buffer tube (coil) to ensure that the working temperature of transmitter does not exceed the limit. Only the correct installation and operation of the orifice flowmeter can make it work in an optimal state, and the measurement data will be the most accurate. At the same time, the service life of the orifice flowmeter can be greatly increased.
6、 When measuring the liquid pressure, the installation position of the transmitter should avoid the impact of the liquid, so as to avoid the damage of the sensor due to overpressure.
7、 When wiring, put the cable through the waterproof joint (accessory) or flexible pipe and tighten the sealing nut to prevent the rainwater from leaking into the transmitter housing through the cable.
8、 When freezing occurs in winter, it is necessary to take anti freezing measures according to the pressure of orifice flowmeter installed outdoors, so as to avoid the damage of sensor caused by the expansion of liquid in the pressure port due to icing volume.
9、 Prevent dross from depositing in the catheter.
